I ordered these for my youngest son, and I honestly feel so happy with them. When I first took them out of the packaging, I admit I felt a little bit sceptical. They are noticeably thinner than traditional, heavy terry towelling, and I worried they might not be absorbent enough to actually dry him properly after his evening bath.However, I felt completely reassured the very first time I used them. The fabric is incredibly soft and silky against my hands, and I feel so relieved knowing that it is completely gentle on his delicate skin without rubbing or irritating it. I feel a lot of joy just wrapping him up in the little hood; it keeps him perfectly cosy, secure, and warm while I get his pyjamas ready.I also really appreciate how practical they feel for my daily routine. These hooded towels are an interlock outer fabric with a terry inside for absorbancy, and are nicely made with the bound edges. I love a hooded towel for bub, especially in the cooler weather, as I can quickly wrap her up and have the excess moisture wicked away. I'll still often use another towel for drying off completely, but while I dry one area, the hooded towel allows me to keep other areas wrapped up and warm. This set of two lightweight but good quality towels is very nicely boxed too, if you wanted to give it as a baby gift.
